Download it as-is, or adjust the sections to match how your department works.
Hospitals, clinics, and care settings. Posted each week and updated as coverage and backup assignments change so staff always know who to reach.
Can I change the days or coverage blocks?
Yes. The grid is fully editable in PowerPoint, so you can match your call schedule and coverage windows.
Can I add more contact columns?
Yes. Every header is editable, so you can add a secondary number, email, or specialty column.
How do we update coverage?
Because it is dry-erase, you rewrite the week's primary and backup providers as the schedule changes.
What size should an on-call schedule board be?
It scales proportionally up to 47 inches tall without quality loss, so choose a size readable from the work area.
How do I clean the surface?
Our No-Ghost laminate is easy to clean. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn or old marker marks, use isopropyl alcohol on a soft cloth and easily wipe away. This also makes the vinyl and board-mounted options easy to sanitize in clinical or shared-use environments. Avoid rough paper towels, as they can scratch the laminate over time.
Can the design be damaged with cleaning?
No. The designed part is printed under the laminate and cannot be damaged by cleaning the surface. For the same reason, the surface is perfectly smooth for writing.
What sizes are available?
Our custom dry-erase posters range from 24x18 inches up to 47x96 inches. Board-mounted options are available up to 96x48 inches for local pickup, with shippable sizes up to 24x36 inches. You can see all available sizes and prices at posterpresentations.com/price-guide.html
Can I print the template at a larger size?
Yes. Our free templates are designed at 24x18 inches, but we can scale them proportionally up to 47 inches tall without any loss of quality. That means a 24x18 template can be printed as large as roughly 63x47 inches while keeping everything in perfect proportion. You do not need to change anything in your file for this. Just select your preferred size when you place your order, and we will handle the scaling.
What if I need a size that isn't proportional to 24x18?
If you need a different aspect ratio, such as a square board or a wider layout, you can change the slide dimensions in PowerPoint before you start designing. Go to Design > Slide Size > Custom Slide Size and enter your desired dimensions. Keep in mind that changing the slide size after you have already designed your layout may shift your content around, so it is best to set your dimensions first.
What if I need a poster larger than 56 inches?
PowerPoint has a maximum slide dimension of 56 inches. If your board needs to be larger than that in either direction, simply design your layout at exactly half the final size. For example, if you need a 48x96 inch board, set your slide to 24x48 inches. We will double it at print time. Just make sure your text and graphics are clean and high resolution, as everything will be scaled up by 2x.
What backing options do you offer?
We offer four configurations to fit your environment. Roll & Post Photo Print ships rolled and can be attached with pins, Velcro, or tape. Peel & Stick Vinyl (Permanent) adheres directly to a wall for a long-term installation. Peel & Stick Vinyl (Repositionable) sticks firmly but peels off cleanly when you need to move or replace it. Rigid Board Mount comes ready to hang or place on an easel.
How can I customize a dry-erase poster?
You can design your layout in PowerPoint, Word, InDesign, or any application that exports a print-quality PDF. As long as your file is set up at the correct dimensions and saved as a PDF, we can print it. If you need a starting point, we offer free downloadable PowerPoint templates for common healthcare and organizational boards.
What file format do you accept?
We require PDF files. If you are working in PowerPoint, go to Save As and select PDF as the file format. Do not use the Print to PDF option, as it can reduce the quality of your output.
Can I use any dry-erase markers?
Yes, any standard dry-erase markers will work. Avoid permanent markers or other inks, as they will be very difficult or impossible to remove.
Are they water-resistant?
The three vinyl and board-mounted options are water-resistant and their laminated surfaces can be sanitized with alcohol-based cleaners. The Roll & Post Photo Print is not water-resistant and should be kept dry. All configurations should be kept away from prolonged direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
They can be used in covered outdoor areas as long as the surface does not get wet. If it does get wet, allow it to dry completely before writing on it or cleaning it. Store your dry-erase markers away from sun and heat.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Most orders ship within one to two business days. We offer shipping options ranging from free FedEx Ground to FedEx Overnight delivery, so you can choose the speed that fits your timeline.
