Delivery options

Pickup from our Berkeley location
If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area you are welcome to come and pick up your poster in person. When you place your order please select the "In-store pickup" option. Please call ahead of time so we can ensure that we have your order ready when you arrive.

Delivery to your hotel
It is often more practical to send your poster directly to your hotel instead of your work or home address. It can save you the hassle of carrying your poster and may even save you some airline fees. Shipping to hotels is a common and safe option for your poster delivery. Most hotels either have business centers or are setup to receive guest packages. We prefer to ship your poster so that it arrives one or two days before you need it (even if that is before you arrive at the hotel), just to be on the safe side. We highly recommend that you call your hotel in advance in order to alert them to expect your package, confirm that they will in fact accept the delivery, and hold it for you until you arrive.

Saturday delivery
FedEx Saturday Delivery is available to most locations (at an extra charge) for orders that ship out on Friday. If Saturday delivery is available in your area the commitment time is noon.
Please let us know if you want Saturday delivery when you place your order.

Delivery to your home
Shipping to your home is convenient and easy. FedEx will not deliver to P.O. boxes.
By default, a signature is not required for delivery, and the courier will leave your package at the door. In rare instances the courier may choose not to leave the package if no one is home because of risk of being stolen. If you want the courier to leave the package somewhere else on your property please leave a clearly written note on your door.
If you live in a gated community the courier may have to leave the package at the front office. Please make the appropriate arrangements.

Delivery to the conference
We suggest that you avoid having your order sent directly to the conference unless you are absolutely certain that the organizers are willing to receive and sign for your package. If you are not certain, we recommend that you have your poster delivered your hotel. Ask if the conference has a receiving center and what their requirements are.

Rush Charges
If you have a last minute print order that we can fit in our work flow, we will gladly do it without extra fees. We appreciate your business.

Production and delivery guarantee

Production Guarantee:
We guarantee that if your order is placed, approved to print and paid for before noon Pacific, Monday through Friday, your order will ship out the same day unless other verbal or written arrangements have been made between us and the person who assumes responsibility for placing an order. Academic SuperSaver orders are shipped only as indicated on the Academic SuperSaver order page.

All orders are shipped by FedEx unless you make your own arrangements with another courier.

Damaged delivery:
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged you will need to call us immediately so we can help you or we may not be able to do it in time for your presentation. We will require a couple of pictures so we can file a claim with the courier. We do not issue refunds for damaged merchandise. We will either reprint and ship your order as fast as we can or we will issue a full credit towards your next order.

Courier delivery failure:
You are fully responsible for calculating the correct delivery schedule that will best accommodate your presentation date. We strongly recommend that you allow enough time for the rare but possible delivery failure by the courier service. If FedEx fails to deliver as scheduled, the shipping charges will be refunded in full under certain conditions. The merchandise will not be refunded even if it is past your presentation date and time. Depending on the circumstances and if timing allows it, we may reprint your order at half the original price and expedite it at a reduced rate. If the delivery is delayed by the courier due to weather there will not be a refund for any part of the order. If the courier reports a package as being delivered but you still don’t have it in your possession you have to contact the courier and try to resolve the issue locally. If you cannot resolve the issue with the courier you have to call us within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery and we will help you resolve the issue as best as we can.
